Mel is one of the original members of staff, has been with One Stop Properties since 2006 and looks after all monetary matters including tenants’ rents, paying landlords and contractors (in a timeous manner!), and ensuring that the company’s finances meet all legislative demands and timescales. Whilst she displays the typical attributes for this job i.e. accuracy, diligence, focus and good organisational skills, she can be quite humorous too.
While studying for her degree, Mel took on part time work within a large estate agency group, which gave her the initial buzz for the letting industry. Several, different customer facing roles have provided Mel with the passion and ability to do the right things right, and as a landlord herself, Mel can really empathise with both landlords and tenants.
A focussed music lover, Mel is a regular at gigs. Given her keen interest in history and culture, she is often found driving around Scotland or researching her next foreign travel destination.
